This sermon was preached at New Testament Christian Fellowship in Conover, NC on February 10, 2019. It is the second of a two-part miniseries taken from Revelation 19:13 concerning the mysterious inseparable relationship that exists between the Living Word of God, the Messiah, and the Written Word of God, the Holy Bible. When the Messiah is unveiled from heaven at His Second Advent, His name is called “The Word of God,” thus echoing that relationship. The same can be found in the Great Commission as set forth by Jesus Christ Himself in Luke 24:44-53. "It is written" are truly three profound and powerful words. In a day when a lot of ministries, churches, and so-called Christians lightly esteem the Holy Bible and somehow think they can have a relationship with the Living Word of God apart from the Written Word of God, it behooves us to consider the inseparable relationship between Christ and the Bible and the traits that both the Living Word and the Written Word do share.
